At Edge Developers, we are builders at heart. With a background in general contracting, we have a deep understanding of how to build cost effectively. We can look at a design and immediately understand its technical challenges and budget implications. Understanding soil engineering, shoring, structures, and envelope protection is critical to successful design.

We know how much construction costs. We value engineer designs geared towards cost saving, and we manage construction in a way that minimizes change orders. We actively analyze initial and operating costs, and integrate lifecycle studies as needed.

As former builders, we know how long it takes to build, and this provides us with the knowledge to drive the schedule. In today’s environment, this is a critical element of success.

Our construction experience allows us to select competent design teams, bid and negotiate contracts, lead pre-construction services, manage design/build elements, control monthly pay requests, and instill quality control.

Property Management

Although Edge is not a property manager, we often partner with Mar Properties, a related company that manages both residential and office buildings. After developments are completed, we can provide property management for our clients in a seamless transition from construction to occupancy. This relationship helps us design buildings that are easy to maintain and manage. Mar Properties can address issues such as access control, security, maintenance, amenities, parking, garbage, mail, pet care, package deliveries, storage, and neighborhood relations during the design process. They can also take the lead on leasing any commercial spaces.
